Inspired by the work of one of the World’s greatest scientists, a Serb by origin and the first honorary citizen of Novi Sad, creates a symbolic bridge between the ’old’ and the ’new’ year.Tesla – Light Gallery’ is a light exhibition of several famous international artists from Europe and Japan that takes place since 2021. Their artistic reinterpretation of light is achieved through projection mapping, laser technology, and converting found or deconstructed analog devices from the past (oscilloscopes, early gaming consoles, video mixers, and lasers). 
The Festival of Lights-Tesla Light Gallery, aims to establish an ongoing new media art program throughout the year. The vision is to transform the "light of the city" by implementing unique light installations. This initiative, supported and co-financed by the City Authority for Urban Planning and Investments, seeks to create a distinct visual experience. Integrative segment of this all year-long development project are open calls for artists. The goal is to reimagine the city's illumination, going beyond traditional lighting schemes. This initiative not only enhances the city's visual appeal but also promotes sustainable urban development by integrating art, culture, and tourism into the fabric of Novi Sad's identity and urban development strategy aiming to position Novi Sad as a must-visit destination.
